NEW GAME · 2–4P ONLINE CO-OP HORROR
The ghost only shows up on camera.
One player becomes the guard and is the only one who can see the ghost, through the security cameras. Everyone else walks the pitch-dark building with a flashlight and a gun. All you have is the voice on the radio.

Camera list
Floor planEach round one player is picked at random to be the guard. Switch cameras, find the ghost, and warn whoever it's after.
Search desks and lockers for your key, then reach the exit. You can't see the ghost — a heartbeat and a flickering flashlight are your only warning.
Round N starts with N bullets. Anyone's hit repels an attack; a miss only costs ammo. If the ghost reaches you, your round is over.

MONO ENGINE is the engine MONOKURO GAMES built for itself. Based on Godot Engine, it's tailored to the way we work: making our games together with AI. Scenes and scripts are all plain text — Claude reads and writes them directly, runs the game, and checks the result itself.
* Editor size measured (150.9 MB). 30 minutes measured by the developer. Credit savings measured by MONOKURO GAMES. 123 shots from the latest run.
Mujin Byoto's chapter 1 corridor, open in the MONO ENGINE editorHover to develop
The editor is about 151 MB. Drop it in a folder and it runs.
Scenes and scripts can be read and written directly by AI.
Launch, auto-play and screenshot checks — all from the CLI.
Builds a game exe, icon and all, in one command.
Film straight from inside the game — trailers and key art alike.
Fog, reflections and glow — enough to draw the air of a horror game.
The difference: whether there's an "interpreter" between the AI and the engine.
UE · UNITY × MCP
MONO ENGINE × CLAUDE
Look, fix, run again — Claude turns this loop on its own.
One edit rewrites many things at once. No calling tools one by one.
Structure and settings are readable text, so it builds with full context.
Auto-play and screenshots show the result; it fixes things on the spot.
No MCP tool definitions to read, so credit use stays light.

A scene is just text. Claude reads and writes it directly.

Auto-play check shots (excerpt)MONO ENGINE runs from the command line, auto-plays all four chapters and takes screenshots at key moments. Claude looks at the screens itself, finds problems and fixes them.
THINGS CLAUDE SPOTTED IN THE SHOTS — AND FIXED
## The director: a tall, featureless black figure in a white coat,
func _director() -> void:
_part(_body, _capsule(0.2, 0.62), coat, Vector3(0, 1.45, 0))
_add_blade(right_arm, 0.72, 0.34)
All seven ghosts in Mujin Byoto are built in script from spheres, cylinders and capsules. Not a single external 3D model.

MONO ENGINE editorMONOKURO GAMES built its own engine, MONO ENGINE, to make our games together with AI.
Based on Godot Engine, MONO ENGINE keeps every scene and script as plain text. Claude reads and writes the project directly, then launches, auto-plays and films the game from the command line to check the result for itself.
Our first game made with it, Mujin Byoto, went from the first prompt to a complete, playable four chapters in about 30 minutes (measured by the developer).
No — MONO ENGINE is used only for MONOKURO GAMES' own titles, and we have no plans to sell or distribute it. Questions about how we make our games are welcome through the contact form.
